This policy explains how FractionSteps (fractionsteps.com) handles information when you use the site. In short: the calculators run entirely in your browser, and we use a small set of standard third-party services for analytics and advertising, governed by the consent choice you make on the cookie banner.

The calculations stay in your browser

Every calculator, worksheet and practice problem on this site runs locally in your browser using JavaScript. The fractions you type are not sent to us or stored on a server. When you download a worksheet PDF, it is generated on your own device.

Analytics — Google Analytics 4

We use Google Analytics 4 to understand which pages are used and how the site performs, in aggregate. It is configured with Google Consent Mode v2, and IP addresses are anonymised. Before you accept cookies, analytics storage is set to denied, so no analytics cookies are placed. You can read Google's policy at policies.google.com/privacy.

Advertising — Google AdSense and Adsterra

This site is free and supported by advertising from Google AdSense and Adsterra. These services may use cookies to serve and measure ads.
